FAQ - Concerns

General Concerns

Didn't Lenin try this and it ended horribly? Why would it be different this time?

Contrary to the name, National Bolshevism is not  related to Bolshevism.

I'm Ukrainian and I think this is a horrible idea. Dugin advocates for the genocide of Ukrainians!

While Alexander Dugin is an influence, we do not agree with his idea of "Eurasianism" nor his ideas about Ukraine.

What is a "degenerate?"

A degenerate is someone who commits murder, sexual exploitation or rape, or war crimes (complete and specific definition in Party bylaws).

Is "degenerate" just a code for a race, religion, or lifestyle?

A degenerate can be a person of any race or religion. They aren't degenerate because of their identity or sexual orientation, but because of the actions they conducted.

I like your ideas, but the name is a bit edgy. Why don't you change the name?

The Party is named after a movement that is different from the movement of the 1917 Revolution, though we are aware that many Westerners (Americans in particular) don't realize this.

How come the description of National Bolshevism on this site is different from what I've heard on other sites?

National Bolshevism changed over the course of the decades.

What do you mean "End all forms of suffering and exploitation?"

That's it. It's not complicated.

Aren't you just Commie-Nazis?

The National Bolshevik Party is not a "commie-nazi" organization. We reject both communism and nazism.

Do you hate Jews?

The National Bolshevik Party is not an anti-Semitic organization. We do not hate or discriminate against any race, ethnicity, or religion.

Concerns from the Far Left

National Bolshevism is a syncretic movement that sought to merge the right and the left, thus it is not entirely a far left ideology. This is not very well received by the modern day far left. The far left believes that such an act is a betrayal to the working class.

Nationalism is an artificial barrier used to divide the workers. How can you be Nationalist?

Our perspective on nationalism is not out of jingoism, but out of pragmatism. We have placed ourselves into the nation-state system. Consequently, we must adapt to it.
